Menu Content and AI Processing

Menu content you enter into Tablo is sent to the Anthropic Claude API solely for the purpose of generating training quizzes. This content is not used to train AI models. Anthropic's data handling practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

Your menu data is not shared with any third party other than Anthropic for this specific purpose.

Staff Data

Staff profiles, including names, PINs, and quiz scores, are visible only to the restaurant manager who created the account. This data is not shared with any third parties and is not accessible to Tablo employees in the normal course of operations.

Payment Data

If you subscribe to Tablo through the iOS app, payments are processed by Apple through their In-App Purchase system. Apple's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information in that context.

If you subscribe through the web, payments are processed by Stripe. Tablo stores only your subscription status — we do not store credit card numbers or full payment details.

Device Fingerprinting

At account creation, Tablo generates a hashed device fingerprint for the sole purpose of preventing free trial abuse. This fingerprint is non-reversible — it cannot be used to identify you individually or reconstruct your device details. It is used only to determine whether a free trial has previously been used from a given device.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the deletion request.
